Meeting Room Rentals

The Education & Resource Center is located in the Rogue Valley Mall on the lower level next to JC Penney. It has three classrooms available for use by educational and community groups. To schedule a room at the ERC, a room reservation agreement should be completed at least one week prior to the date requested. For information about scheduling call the ERC at (541) 779-2489.

Public and private organizations and groups may schedule use of the facilities when available for education, business,  training and health related purposes, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Groups using the ERC are responsible for returning the room to its prior condition. This must be done immediately following the event unless special arrangements have been made in advance.

Room Fees

A facilities fee will be changed to those groups desiring to schedule a room. The fee will vary depending on the size of the room and the length of time used. Payment is due before the day of the activity. Make checks payable to: The Job Council.

• Room #1 has an occupancy of up to 27. Rates: $10/hr up to 3 hours, $30/hr for half day, $60 for full day.

• Room #2 has an occupancy of up to 38. Rates: $10/hr up to 3 hours, $30/hr for half day, $60 for full day.

• Room #3 has an occupancy of up to 53. Rates: $15/hr up to 3 hours, $50/hr for half day, $75 for full day.

• For usage of the video teleconferencing: $55 set-up and connection fee, plus $30/hr for non-profit organizations or $50/hr for profit organizations.

• On-site technician is available for $10/hr.

• For usage of easel board & paper: $15

Deposit

A cleaning deposit of $35 is required, payable at the time of scheduling. If no excessive cleaning is needed, the deposit will be refunded following the activity. Send the cleaning deposit fee and copy of the rental agreement to: The Education & Resource Center, 1600 N. Riverside, #1001, Medford, OR 97501. Make checks payable to: The Job Council.

Cancellation

Program cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will forfeit the deposit.

Food and Beverages

We ask that special care be taken when food or beverages are consumed in classrooms, so we may maintain a clean and comfortable meeting environment for you. Special arrangements may be made for groups to arrange for coffee service and/or catered luncheon meetings. No alcoholic beverages or other intoxicants, including drugs, may be consumed in this facility.

Audio and Visual Equipment

The center has some audio/visual (VCR & overhead projector) equipment and it may be scheduled if available at the time of the room reservation.

Smoking

The Education & Resource Center and the Rogue Valley Mall are smoke free facilities.
