Master in Management
Southern Oregon University's new Master in Management (MM) Degree Program is a means by which working managers can acquire the skills and credentials necessary to advance in their fields while remaining on the job. This exciting new degree is in the final planning stages. Pending review and approval, classes will begin fall 1998.
The Master in Management is:
Designed for current or future managers in business, arts, health care, nonprofit organizations, government and social services.
Convenient for working people with most courses offered evenings and weekends in Medford and Ashland.
Taught by SOU faculty and prominent managers and leaders from southern Oregon.

Degree Completion Programs
Perhaps you went to college but didn't finish, or you have an associate's degree and need more. You're realizing that to progress any further in your career, you need to have your bachelor's degree. Like most people, you can't afford to quit your job to attend school full-time. You don't have to.
Southern Oregon University is reaching out to working people by offering the Human Services Degree Completion Program and the Business Degree Completion Program. Classes are offered in the evenings and on weekends in Ashland and Medford. Strengthening your ability to work effectively is our goal. Both programs are designed for those who:
- Have a desire to improve career opportunities and reach educational goals
- Want to strengthen their ability to work effectively
- Have an associate of arts degree or approximately two years of college completed
- Have work or family responsibilities which make daytime attendance very difficult
- Have employers that encourage additional education
Human Services Degree Completion
The program includes courses in Psychology such as helping skills, crisis intervention, behavior modification, program development and evaluation, and supervised practica. Sociology will offer courses in social interaction, organization, community, social issues, and policy.
The interdisciplinary nature of this degree will allow students to develop a broad background along with necessary human relation skills. You will have the flexibility to tailor your degree to fit your professional expectations.

Business Degree Completion
The Business Degree Completion Program offers a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and a minor in Psychology or Communication. If you have nearly two years of college, you can earn your degree in approximately three years by taking two classes each term.
