That's what the strong alliances at the point of service delivery are beginning to do. Employment service, education and training agencies, vocational rehabilitation agencies, community colleges and other for-profit and non-profit organizations furnish the customer with unified service. What will be the access points? Customers can visit the centers directly. For some that may mean a visit to a location where partners are co-located, such as The Education & Resource Center. For others it may mean going to a community college or public library. Others can connect to an information center through a PC or Kiosk. For many, an internet browser is all that's needed. (See America's Talent Bank - http://www.ajb.dni.us) or the (Oregon Labor Market Information System - OLMIS - http://olmis.emp.state.or.us). Individual states or regions may reflect a range of titles, but all are affiliated with America's One Stop System. What Services are available? There is a dependable menu of services which may be directly offered at one or more locations:
The Education & Resource Center is conveniently located in Medford at the Rogue Valley Mall on the lower level next to Mervyn's. It is open Monday - Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. For more information, contact Jim Hilton at (541) 779-2489. |
