Meet Kerry Malone
Kerry is a Southern Oregon native and has worked for Southern Oregon Goodwill Industries
for seven years. She works full-time at the ERC and is the manager of Goodwill Technology
Services, a specialized technology center for persons with visual impairments, learning,
and physical disabilities.
In conjunction with the Oregon Commission for the Blind, Goodwill Technology Services
offers ERC patrons free use of an adapted workstation designed to enable persons with
visual impairments and learning disabilities to obtain access to print and electronic
information, and to participate in resume preparation and job search activities. Other
services provided by Goodwill Technology Services at the ERC include technology needs
assessments, classroom and on-site adaptive technology skills training, career
exploration, job development, and job readiness instruction. For more information, you can

On Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. until Noon, Kerry is joined by Lani
Terry, Service Coordinator for Willpower Temporary Services, a division of Southern Oregon
Goodwill. Lani interviews, screens, and qualifies applicants for businesses who need
short-term and temp-to-hire workers. For employers, Willpower has an extensive pool of
pre-screened applicants available for immediate assignment. For more information,

Turning Point, a division of Southern Oregon Goodwill, provides specialized services for
persons with traumatic brain injury and sponsors monthly support group meetings for
survivors and family members. Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at the ERC
from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. For more information, contact Pamela J. Ogden at 776-3427.
Businesses throughout the region can contract with Goodwill to provide industrial services
that include light manufacturing, collating and labeling, direct or bulk mail services,
product packaging, and shrink wrapping. Benefits to business partners include quality
